Seafair will host its final Seattle events at the end of July and we can’t wait!  Check out the upcoming events for this summer celebration.

Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade
07/31/2010
The Torchlight Parade features the Seafair clowns and Seafair pirates, the foot stomping drill teams, illuminated floats, bass drum thumping bands, giant helium balloons, Miss Seafair, the Seattle Police Motorcycle Drill Team and much more.

Seafair Fleetweek
08/04/2010 through 08/08/2010, Wednesday-Saturday 9:30am-3:30pm, Sunday 12:00pm-3:30pm
Seafair is proud to welcome the men and women of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Canadian Navy each year to Seattle’s Elliott Bay waterfront.  The arrival of the ships and sailors for Seafair is a tradition rooted in the formative years of the festival over 60 years ago. Over 5,000 sailors will disembark a half-dozen U.S. Navy, Coast Guard and Canadian vessels for a short liberty pass and the opportunity to take part in the high-speed Seafair action on Lake Washington.  The Fleet will make its entrance in Elliot Bay on Wednesday, August 4 between approximately 12:30pm and 1:30pm. Show your support by welcoming the Fleet at Bell Harbor as they parade through Elliot Bay.

Torchlight Parade
07/31/2010, Saturday 7:30pm-9:00pm
Seafair and Alaska Airlines are thrilled to “Celebrate Summer” at the 2010 Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade. This magnificent parade will include giant helium balloons, precision drill teams representing local communities, equestrian units, comical clowns, swashbuckling pirates and heart-pounding bands playing all your favorite tunes.

Torchlight Run at Seafair
07/31/2010, Saturday 6:30pm
Seattle’s original road race features a New 5K and 8K course! For the first time both races will journey down the Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade route and be televised live on Kiro TV. The new route will start on South Lake Union, storm the Parade route, hit the viaduct and return to the Naval Reserve Station on South Lake Union.
