Life on the Seattle waterfront quickly changed last week when hundreds of bags of crushed snow-like ice were brought in and a huge snow ramp emerged on Pier 56. Crews arrived early in the morning to set up a life size snowboarding ramp in honor of the annual Coors Light Cold Front celebration.
The Deadliest Catch crabbing boat, Wizard, made a special appearance as well as the Silver Bullet Girls and other VIP guests. Within minutes after the gates opened at 4pm, Pier 56 came to life. And to think that we would have snow on a sunny Seattle afternoon with highs near 75 degrees – unbelievable! Never a dull moment here at Argosy.
